Everything You Need to Know

How do I join a Zoom meeting?

Simply click on the Zoom link provided in your confirmation email. We recommend you download the Zoom app when prompted. Enter the meeting ID and wait for the teacher to admit you to the classroom. It is that easy!

What if I am having technical difficulties?

Make sure that you have reliable internet, camera, and microphone before logging into a class. If you are still having trouble, email the teacher. In some certain circumstances, class can be rescheduled. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they have working internet, camera, and microphone before joining class.

What if I need to reschedule?

Contact your teacher. Classes can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before class time. We know things come up and kids get sick. We will do everything we can to reschedule any classes within 24 hours before class begins, but if it is not possible, the class may be billed for the full amount. If a student does not enter the classroom within the first 10 minutes of class, the teacher will cancel class and the student will be billed.

I was concerned about my child’s progress given the March 2020 pivot to virtual learning and my district’s plan to continue to teach virtually at least through the fall. Jennifer spent a full 40 minutes with my daughter and sent a comprehensive evaluation within hours of completion. She highlighted areas of strength and weakness and offered her assessment of my child’s ability in relation to her grade level. My 7-year old daughter thought Jennifer was very nice and enjoyed working with her. I also found it very easy to communicate with her. The two spent the full time together without any interference from me. We would not hesitate to use Jennifer again for this service or for individual tutoring.
